Player Biography:
Former England schoolboy international who started with Manchester United. Made 2 appearances for the Old Trafford side scoring once before being shown the door. Had a stint in America with Los Angeles Aztecs before coming home to Ashton United. Was given a chance to resurrect his football league career with Crewe Alexandra and delivered scoring 47 goals in 134 games before he joined Hyde in 1981. After three seasons at Ewen Fields he again got the chance to turn pro, this time with Swindon Town. 30 goals in 110 games later and after a brief loan to Aldershot his football league career came to an end. His later playing days saw him appear for Colne Dynamoes, Radcliffe Borough, Glossop North End and Wilmslow Albion.
