Match Details: Saturday 24th April 1999 Northern Premier League Premier Division
Attendance: 257 Lancaster City: Not available Lancaster started well with Taylor making a good run but shooting wide. The Tigers went close as Simon Yeo headed against the crossbar for a Dolby cross. Mark Thornley pushed a Tony Rodwell shot round the post and from the corner Moncrieffe headed over when he should have done better. Taylor again made a good run, this time crossing for Kennedy to glance his header wide of the post. Lancaster scored the games only goal on 50 minutes when Edgington parried Diggles shot, John Kennedy was there to bundle home the loose ball. A Dolby cross was then met by Simon Yeo but Thornley did well to block his shot. Another Dolby cross saw Brenchley head wide. |
